WillyB Barbell Club, located at LTrain Crossfit,
offers a number of programs for CrossFit and Weightlifting athletes alike.
Our barbell club is founded on two guiding principles. We believe that everyone is capable of performing the Snatch, Clean and Jerk. With hard work, discipline, and dedication these seemingly impossible lifts can be executed with the fluidity and grace of a world-class athlete. We be believe training the Olympic lifts not only improves your speed, balance, accuracy and coordination but it also improves your focus and ability to overcome fear. By using the barbell to train the body and the mind we seek to improve athlete performance on and off the platform.
Designed to supplement your current CrossFit training. Each class will focus on an Olympic Weightlifting skill or technique designed to improve your performance in CrossFit. Athletes of all skill levels are welcome.
Olympic Weightlifting program
Programed in 9 week Cycles to advance your technique, build your strength, increase your speed and deepen your understanding of the Snatch, Clean and Jerk. The cycle will revolve around 3 days of coached lifting in small groups and one day of independent study per week, in two 4 week blocks, culminating in a taper and test via Mock Meet.
Open gym time and sessions are available to barbell club members as well as a stand alone monthly membership for those athletes looking to work on their own. Open gym hours can be found on our schedule page.
